2011-2014 Subaru WRX / STI Aluminum Engine Under Tray Skid Plate
This aluminum skid plate/splash guard is a direct fit for your Subaru WRX or STI. It replaces the OEM plastic splash guard panel which offers little protection and generally has many problems. It offers built-in trap doors for both oil drain plug and oil filter. Unlike many splash shields and skid plates on the market, this also offers ventilation as well as complete side brackets for additional support. It comes with new hardware - especially important as this goes ALL THE WAY to your front bumper and doesn't stop at the radiator support - it will replace the stock push clips with speed nuts and bolts. This will give your WRX or STI support on the front bumper while maintaining optimal air channeling under the vehicle with this aluminum splash shield. Test off road in mud and various applications - this skid plate will keep your engine bay clean and protect your vital components.

Installation Hardware is Included with each aluminum splash shield - It will replace the plastic clips on the bumper with a more permanent solution using bolts and speed nuts

Amazing
The product fit like a charm and is fuckign awesome. Came in a bit scratched up BUT it is a skid plate so it’s gonna get fucked ip regardless haha. I still highly recommend their products. Got the off road version too.

Good, but could be even better with one tweak
Overall, I really like this skid plate. Feels nice and solid, looks much better than stock. My only complaint (besides having to remove rusty bolts already on my car's underside) is that the side brackets weren't labeled as to which side they are to be installed on. They aren't interchangeable. The online directions have you install them first then try and fit up the large plate to see if you got it right. Not a huge deal, but L and R stickers would have made it mistake proof. Overall, a good purchase for added protection.

Easy to install, looks great! A few rough cuts on the top(engine) side of the plate so you won’t see them after install anyways. Shipped super fast and was packed well.

Just what I need
Ordered this for my 2011 STI which had no stock undertray when I got it. The skid plate was lighter and slightly flimsier than I expected but I'm only looking for basic protection against rocks, mud, and snow and actually didn't want anything too heavy either so it works out really well. Slightly rough around some of the cuts but nothing too crazy. Take a few mins to file them out if you're really OCD. There were no instructions in the box but if you search online you can easily find them and it took maybe half an hour just going at a casual pace. Once it was bolted up everything seemed pretty rigid and I'm impressed with how it attaches to the front bumper to keep that rigid as well, since without the stock undertray it's pretty much just flopping around at the bottom. Doors for oil plug and filter are handy too as some skid plates just have the holes. I know there are thicker and more expensive skid plates for more serious off roading/rallying but for the price this thing is exactly what I need. Thanks TBW!

Easy install, feels solid
The installation was really easy on this, just pay attention to which side panel you're putting on which side of the car, I wasnt paying attention and had to flip them, which added a few minutes to the short process. It feels extremely solid once everything is bolted up tight. I havent noticed it helping with cooling the engine bay but I havent driven it too hard since I put the skid plate on. All in all a much improved design over the OEM, I am looking forward to my first oil change and not having to take that stupid plastic crap off.
