Aluminum Under Tray for AWD Infiniti Q50 & Q60 (V37)

Protecting your engine is very important, and the OEM splash shield doesn't do much.  This aluminum engine shield is a direct fit for the All Wheel Drive (AWD) Infiniti Q50.  Not only will it protect better than the plastic splash guard, it will strengthen your bumper and make your vehicle easier to work on.  Imagine not having to take the entire under tray off each time you change your oil!  The built in oil trap door on this aluminum splash shield will make changing the oil a quick and clean process for your Q50.  Sleek, stylish, keeping the engine clean and offering much better protection, all while weighing only a single pound over the stock plastic under tray.  Don't hesitate to put this on your car, as it will be one of the best value purchases you can make for your Infiniti Q50.

Protect your VQ with only the best.  Made from high quality aluminum, all holes are laser cut to direct fit in the stock location.  This version is designed to accomodate larger oil pans, spacers, and some lower front tie braces.  Installation is quick and requires little working knowledge.  Most people can do it on there own with a floor jack, jack stands, and a 10mm wrench in about 10 minutes!

2014-2024 Infiniti Q50 (AWD only)
2016-2024 Infiniti Q60 (AWD only)

  • MADE OF .063 ALUMINUM - only slightly heavier than stock (by ~ 1 lb) but hard aluminum resistant to denting and splitting
  • LASER CUT - Precise cuts to fit stock mounting points * CLEARANCE - Clearance as good as OEM or better, but stronger which improves airflow
  • RIGIDITY - Offers better protection while strengthening bumper support for better stability at high speeds
  • 3 PIECE DESIGN - Won't bend the whole thing if you hit a curb, and can replace only the front piece. Easier to work on your engine.
  • OIL DOOR - The OEM shroud offers little access to the filter. This built in oil door is accessible by removing 2 simple bolts.
  • VENTED DESIGN - Helps to aid with air flow and heat removal

    Excellent Quality

I have a 2017 Q60 Red Sport, lowered 1". After my 1st attempt to install this Skid Plate a few months back, I tried again today. On my car, the flange on the larger (aft) skid plate (both sides) extends too far back from the last through-hole, as the flange interferes with the fender liner, again on each side. I measured 2 3/8" from the centerline of the side through hole, and cut the flange to the 90 deg bend. After the cut, I bent the flange down to form a crimp. That solved the interference problem. I knew from my initial installation failure the holes in larger (aft) skid plate don't quite line-up with the car's subframe. I managed to get all the bolts in except one, and I had to finesse the both skid plates to push the rivets through. For two of the three rivets, I used a Phillips-head screwdriver to move the plates around, to enable pushing the rivets into place. For my last tweak on the larger (aft) skid plate, the second-from-the-back hole doesn't line up with the subframe thread. Therefore, I need to twist the standoff on the skid plate to enable it to line-up with the thread in the subframe. I wonder if TBW even tried to test fit this Skid Plate onto the 2016+ Q50 (V37) and 2017+ Q60 (CV37) platforms. Needless to say, the Skid Plate is now attached to me Q60, with the exception of the one bolt, which will be fixed the next time I have time (and patience).

High quality product and a nice paint job

I drive a lowered Q50 so the oem plastic under guard was torn up. This is a great upgrade and peace of mind knowing im not dragging plastic at high speeds. The product took me a minimum of 15 mins to install after taking the original off. Highly recommend

    Almost perfect.

Nice quality, sounds like they’ve addressed many of the previous review complaints. The last hole didn’t line up so I had to bend it a tad to get it to fit. Could have been from shipping, otherwise it’s a welcomed addition to the Q50 RS400.

    Be careful!

I purchased the black powder coated tray and it looks great and fits pretty good. BUT you made a part without de-burring and is very sharp and second you charged for a powder coat option on a very staggering/sharp edge which is not repairable.

Looks amazing but a little tight

Let me start off with this product looks sweet. I don't regret my purchase whatsoever. Upon installation, the push clips required a mallet to push in. It was a tad annoying but overall, I love it.

    Good quality, easy installation.

Good quality, easy installation. I used to scrape at times since I'm lowered, but since this is more compact I don't anymore. But if I do, I know everything down there will be protected with the metal instead of the oem plastic. Great buy.
