This aluminum skid plate/splash guard is a direct fit for your Subaru WRX or STI. It replaces the OEM plastic splash guard panel which offers little protection and generally has many problems. It offers built-in trap doors for both oil drain plug and oil filter. Unlike many splash shields and skid plates on the market, this also offers ventilation as well as complete side brackets for additional support. It comes with new hardware - especially important as this goes ALL THE WAY to your front bumper and doesn't stop at the radiator support - it will replace the stock push clips with speed nuts and bolts. This will give your WRX or STI support on the front bumper while maintaining optimal air channeling under the vehicle with this aluminum splash shield. Test off road in mud and various applications - this skid plate will keep your engine bay clean and protect your vital components.
Installation Hardware is Included with each aluminum splash shield - It will replace the plastic clips on the bumper with a more permanent solution using bolts and speed nuts

Wonderfully crafted skid plate. Black powder coating is pristine and I couldn’t wait to get this on my car. 5 stars if you stop right there. But You can’t because it doesn’t fit a vehicle with aftermarket headers It smashes against them. After reading reviews (just not here) you find out you need to go on a hunt to find longer sems bolts and spacers. How much bigger, nobody really says. And others say you have to completely bend this beautiful skid plate you just purchased.
Great for and easy install
I was really expecting a good quality piece, but what I received was even better! The aluminum undertray is well made and super easy to install. The bumper feels stronger and this makes for much easier oil changes.
Great product, does exactly as you need it to. Installed on 2013 STi Hatch OBP. It drastically increases the front bumper rigidity - I wish I would've had this installed sooner, my bumper wouldn't have any cracks in it! :( Easy install, maybe 30 minutes total. I bought the black powder-coated version, but it would be nice if it wasn't glossy. Maybe add an option matte black finish with some texture?
great product everything fit perfectly on my 14 wrx, it really reinforces the front bumper. have a fmic so had to take a little off the ends not a big deal. great protection against parking stops hopefully.
I decided to take a shot in the dark by ordering the 2011-2014 STi Undertray for my 08' STi hatchback with the 2011+ front bumper swap. Thankfully, everything bolted up perfectly and without any hassle. The fitment is superb, and the quality of the overall piece is very high. The powdercoating is well done and is worth it. The trap-doors are very convenient and efficient. The added protection helps with peace of mind. Would recommend to anyone who is in the market for an aluminum skid plate.

Just installed on my 2011 WRX Sedan this past weekend, and installation was pretty simple and straight forward. Utilizes all existing mounting points, as well as some additional supports utilizing existing holes in the front bumper. Definitely helps stiffen the front bumper (which is hysterically flimsy) also has easily accessible doors to reach oil filter and drain plug. Comes with all necessary hardware, however no spares, so be careful. Only "complaint" is that it is multi-piece and metal, so even with everything snuggled tight, you get the occasional rattle from the metal to metal contact. Other than that I am completely satisfied considering the stock ripped off the car at 140mph at the track...
